 Most people seem to have a love-hate relationship with Twitter.  My own take: It's like any content stream.  Value is found by the quality of the stream you pull down or contribute too.  That aside...because there is such a dynamic conversation flowing on Twitter, it's great to see big companies taking advantage of an application like Followbase.  Think of the application's use for a social entrepreneur, nonprofits, candidates and issues!  

Moontoast

 Where do you get your tech advise?  A lot of folks just google the problem and spend hours trying to figure it out...or maybe that's just me.  Enter Moontoast.  This great little site connects people with knowledge on something with students.  You need someone how to show you to configure an IMAP account, this site connects the student and teacher via web video.  Pretty nifty.

WatchitToo! Or 3, or 4, or...

Video Conferencing on the computer is becoming a more accessible and easier to use option every day.  Still, each service has it limitations and strengths.  If you're using a good client for conferencing but have a hard time sharing documents during the call, tap into: WatchItToo.  It allows you to connect folks to look at the same documents you are looking it.  Give it a view!

Searching for a way, cheap-and-easy, to give your message some extra punch...to stand out amongst the endless blogs, PowerPoints, etc.?  Enter Memoov.  This easy-to-use innovative web-based application allows users to create animations and character personalization to explain, pitch or persuade on behalf of your issue or product!

Urge Me

The cleanest of GTD applications.  Send yourself a reminder (vie the website, your mobile, etc.) with the essence of what needs to be done when, and boom, you have an e-mail reminder.  The utility of this service is clearly its simplicity.

This is one of a gazzillion reminder tools, but again, so simple!  Check it out.

Whspr!

You're running a small team and you need to post on your website an e-mail address for folks to contact your project's lead to coordinate involvement.  The problem, you post any e-mail address online and spam spiders will find it and pump it full of junk.  Here's where WHSPR! can help.  Simply create a temporary URL that folks will click on and it takes them to a contact form that forwards their message wherever you've programed it.  Nifty!
